I thought it was about time for a personal project. This is the result of several techniques I've been wanting to try for a while (thank you pinterest!). Is it weird? Yes. But do I like it? Love it :)

Tree Picking

My favorite place to go for Christmas trees is Merrywood Farm!  It's the most adorable, beautiful place, I'll let the photos speak for themselves :)

Magnum Opus Elixir

So this is a project I've been working on almost all term at school and I'm pretty proud of the results! (and I'm kind of glad I'm finally finished with it! hehe)

The project was to invent a beverage brand (mine is tea) and completely design all of the branding and identity for it (huge project!). I came up with the name, overall feel of the brand, all the designs and writing for it and of course all of the photography. I was inspired by Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter in particular. You might see this inspiration sprinkled throughout ;).

"We're all mad here. About tea. We search the Northwest for the most magnificent dark teas and expertly blend them into the darkest brew imaginable. This is not you grandmother's tea. This is bold, strong and deep, a reality different than one you've ever known, or maybe…my reality is just different than yours."

Perceptions

I got an awesome internship opportunity at a magazine here at school called Perceptions. It's an art magazine that features photography and short stories, etc. They are currently accepting submissions, it's not only limited to students!

Never Stop

I gotta do some personal work every once in a while to stay sane :) I'm pretty much in love with buffalo plaid lately so I decided I need to do a design with it. The words are just something I made up, little typography practice ;)
